The Marvelous in the Mundane: Karen LaMonte Like fine lace, Karen LaMonte’s cast glass dresses achieve their beauty by revealing a tiny bit of mystery and leaving the rest to the imagination. In the following conversation with Glass Art magazine, LaMonte discusses her life and times in the Czech Republic as well as the evolution of her work from glass marionettes and freestanding puppets to her life-size glass dresses.
